subUrbia is a play by Eric Bogosian chronicling the nighttime activities of a group of aimless 20-somethings still living in their suburban New Jersey hometown and their reunion with a former high school classmate who has become a successful musician. It’s a slacker version of Eugene O’Neill’s The Iceman Cometh with the musician Pony’s return giving the lie to the excuses the rest use to remain stuck in their meaningless dead-end hometown existences.
